If I could write a book, It would be the best one ever wrote:

I'd write about my dad

For he has a heart of gold.

I grew up loving him for his kindness

I grew up disliking him for his strictness

I grew up admiring his dedication

I grew up laughing at his sarcasm

I grew up to be a proud daughter,

Who knows that she didn't do enough to deserve such a great father.

When I am at my best,

I am my father's daughter.

I love my father as the stars,

He's a bright shining example and

A happy twinkling in my heart.

He is physically far away,

But for every heartbeat of mine,

I remind myself that I have the best dad by my side.

And often he knows whats on my mind.

He's someone who listens, suggests and defends every time.

He's proud of my triumphs

But when things go wrong,

He's patient helpful and strong.

He never looks for praises

Never the one to boast

He goes on quietly working

For the ones he loves the most.

He hasn't had an easy life,

He's the strongest person I know.

As my very first mentor,

He's the captain of my flight,

The one who stands by me during every plight.

I just know that one day will come,

When I can make him proud.

I know that life is hard,

But he'll make it sound.

After all, I am my father's daughter.

I'm sorry I don't say this enough,

But I love you.

And I just wanna thank you.

For accepting me with all my flaws

For being the best father one could ever be.

Trust me, the world is so much better with you in it right by me.

Your daughter,
