Poem by Jennifer Jayan
If it's the Ray that peeks,
Smiles lit up transferring the sore.
how it falls on your hair and leaves despair,
to far fetched lands which you cannot heed.
How as it rises and sets it just leaves you in awe,
of the forever memories that have been etched with what you saw.
It glistens on the sea and Hails the day,
To bring unto us moments now left far away.
How it's simplicity is left unrecognized yet, it's absence for more than the stipulated time leaves us antipathized.
Shadows that fall and project us frail ,
but the might of the sun just curbs that trail.
How undeterred it stands today, let it shine let it shine away!
