“Parents can only give good advice or put them on the right paths, but the final forming of a person's character lies in their own hands.” –Anne Frank.
As a teenager I come across many of my friends and acquaintances who always seem to be blaming their parents or circumstances for things gone wrong in their life. Those are the times, that I can’t help, but ponder that for how long will we avoid taking responsibility of our own lives. Like what Anne frank mentions in the quote above.
We can have bad experiences. Some scars and some hurt that influence our decision, but there’s always a time, one particular time that we need to make a choice, or take a decision in our lives. Those are the times that help us build our character. Though we can be clouded by the advices of all around us and may want to react In a particular way, we still have that o e moment which can change things for us. Parents are our providers and comforters. They may or may not be right in all that they do but ultimately life is ours. Ours to live, make mistakes, survive and build. Let’s make our choices wisely
